Dr Laura Ellis is a surgeon specializing in minimally invasive skin rejuvenation, anti-aging procedures and vein laser surgery. She is Medical Director of medAge, a program that helps motivated patients achieve optimal health, vitality and well-being by applying the science of age management medicine to their everyday lifestyle.
With a degree from UNC at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, Dr. Ellis has published major articles on the subject of laser skin rejuvenation in the journals Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery Quarterly. Dr. Ellis is a member of The American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery as well as serves on the Board of Advisors for Aesthetic Business & Technology. Dr. Ellis’ practice serves as a preferred training center for physicians from around the county interested in learning leading-edge cosmetic and laser techniques as well as state-of-the-art vein treatments.
She is married to Veterinary Orthopedic Surgeon, David T. Crouch, DVM and lives in Asheville, North Carolina with their two children Mark and David. Doctors Ellis and Crouch support the Asheville Cinema Society and Festival. Dr. Crouch is a private pilot and through “Pilots N Paws” the two of them transport dogs and cats to animal rescue groups across the country. They are charter members of the Founders Circle of the Asheville Humane Society.
